Tungsten carbide waterjet nozzles, also called abrasive waterjet nozzles or focusing tubes, are used for cutting metal, stone, glass, and ceramics. Compared with brass or stainless steel, tungsten carbide nozzles offer longer service life and higher wear resistance.
Miller Carbide waterjet nozzles are made from nano tungsten carbide without binder phase, providing excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. With better toughness than ceramic nozzles, they perform reliably under high-pressure waterjet cutting conditions.
