Tungsten Carbide Ball is commonly known as tungsten carbide bead, tungsten carbide sphere, hard alloy ball, refers to a ball made from WC powder with binders like colbalt, nickel, etc... The main characteristic is the very high hardness with consequent remarkable resistance to abrasion, tungsten carbide balls are normally used in special applications such as
Ball Sizing: where precision tungsten carbide balls provide fast, economical and accurate hole finishing method when used in ball sizing of any industry. Tungsten carbide balls may provide improved hole finishes and tolerances. The carbide sizing balls are precision machined to exact specifications and finished to 0.000005" perfect roundness. Each Carbide ball is in the 90 Rockwell range. Won't get flat spots like other materials. With its infinitive number of diameters or measuring points, tungsten carbide balls provide economical, true and most indefinitely useful gauge.
Miller is an ISO certified professional manufacturer for tungsten carbide balls since 2008, and uniquely positioned to help you identify and source the correct carbide sizing balls for your application. The smoothness of sizing ball we produced can reach mirror R0.4. We keep stock of 0.4mm to 20mm in metric, 1/16″to 1-1/4″in inch sizing balls for your on time delivery and sizes could be customized, as we have a group of experienced technical personnel, advanced mould production equipments to realize your customization by drawing and sample.

Grade: Miller manufactured 4 main grade ( chemical composition) of carbide balls
1. WC92% + 8% Co (In request of more wear-resistance, we suggest to use WC-Co grades. )
2. WC92% + 8% Ni (In most corrosion-wear situations, an optimum choice is the WC-Ni grades, which are resistant down to pH 2 to 3.)
3. W85%-97%+Ni+Fe Tungsten balls (Density 15.5-18.5g/cm3, mostly are used in the field of shots and counterweight. such as the fish pendant, Oil drilling balance,Ball valves and bearings, Shotgun bullet, Armor-piercing bullet…)
4. W99.95% Pure tungsten balls (Density 19.0-19.2g/cm3, mostly are used in Aerospace, aviation, electrical Instrumentation, laboratory…)
